Job Description

As the Senior Accountant you will:

  • Create and analyse weekly/ monthly financial reports
  • Conduct monthly reviews on all management accounts
  • Prepare end of year financial statements
  • Prepare stakeholder reports
  • Develop robust financial controls
  • Support in the cash-flow, budget and forecasts
  • Appraise the financial status of grant application

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Senior Financial Accountant will be:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience and use of relative accounting standards.
  • Experience within accounting, management reporting, business partnering and year end audit.
  • Experience within management and the ability to project manage, lead and demonstrate a collaborative approach
  • Experience within financial accounting and presenting data.
  • Experience within the development of systems to optimise usage and increase deficiencies.
  • Experience in assisting and delivering projects to tight deadlines.
  • The ability to analyse financial issues and interpret information.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to tight deadlines.

  • Working hours: 37.5, 9am-5pm
  • 12-month Fixed Term Contract
  • Up to £45,000 per annum
