An established Financial Services business based in Yorkshire.

Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Delivering and leading individual audits assigned by audit management to meet the commitment made to the Audit Committee.Ensuring that audit delivery processes considers all material risks and challenges the appropriateness and effectiveness of the first and second lines of defence control frameworks.

Applying the agreed audit methodologies to ensure conformance with professional guidelines (Standards, Ethics and Financial Services Code) issued by the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors.

The Successful Applicant

Breadth of experience in Internal Audit or relevant risk management / business discipline

Holds a relevant Professional Qualification (ACA/CIA or equivalent)

Experience of working in a Financial Services setting

Advanced auditing skills across a variety of audit types or experience of audit specialisms

Knowledge and application of data interrogation tools

Proven time management and prioritisation skills
