About Our Client

Our client is a reputable firm based just outside of the city centre of Leeds. Working with a broad range of clients delivering an excellent suite of services.

Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all general bookkeeping duties for the company.
  • Lead the Accounting & Finance team to meet company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and procedures.
  • Provide monthly financial reports and updates to senior management.
  • Implement and maintain effective financial systems and controls.
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff within the Accounting & Finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Bookkeeper should have:

  • A strong background in bookkeeping within the Professional Services industry.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
  • Profound knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong competency in MS Office and accounting software.
