Job Description
The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for winning sales from a selection of large blue-chip clients and prospects within an industry sector. You will do this by becoming a trusted advisor providing leadership, direction and insight to win business for long term net-zero programmes. You will be supported by a sales and market engine that includes prospectors, proposal and programme managers. The successful candidates will have the presence to operate at senior levels, be a great listener, and have a track record of winning and growing business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and manager client relationships - identifying opportunities, capturing value, and winning deals.
- Taking a senior role in business development, sales and account management.
- Building strong personal and business relationships to become a credible trusted advisor to clients.
- Achieving thought leadership and expertise in the chosen field.
The Successful Applicant
The Senior Business Development Manager should have the following experience/skillset:
- Significant experience in a B2B solution or consultative sales role.
- Experience in building trusted client relationships and closing deals with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a a challenger/consultative sales approach.
- Have experience in developing solutions and building business cases to close sales with C-level clients.
- A passion for the sustainability sector.
What's on Offer
Basic Salary £70,000 - £80,000 plus OTE
