Job Description
Senior Business Intelligence Analyst - Asset Management
- Lead and execute analytic work to identify and develop key business intelligence metrics.
- Consult with business units to understand their business intelligence needs and ensures that business leaders have the right metrics to inform key decisions and actions.
- Interpret and analyse appropriate data sources of high complexity, using best practice and advanced research/analytical techniques.
- Use expert knowledge of data visualisation tools, data and business needs to deliver data in a way that enables business stakeholders to quickly understand, form action plans and make informed decisions.
- Brings business intelligence expertise and best practices to help define enterprise data and technology solutions.
- Maintains flexibility in meeting deadlines and expectations in the face of shifting priorities.
- Clearly communicates ideas and solutions to business stakeholders, leadership and sponsors.
- Collaborates strongly across the business and with industry groups on data availability and/or requirements.
- Help define and refine processes and frameworks needed to identify needs.
The Successful Applicant
Senior Business Intelligence Analyst - Asset Management
- A degree in an analytically oriented subject, for example economics, finance, statistics, mathematics or equivalent combination of training and experience. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of SAS, SQL, R, Python, Hive, Tableau, Power BI or other data analysis, data mining and programming tools
- Excellent overall programming skills
- Knowledge of and familiarity with data and data constructs required. Experience of Asset Management data is highly desirable.
- Advanced analytical/statistical reasoning skills highly desirable.
- Demonstrated track record of building strong relationships across technical and non-technical crew.
- Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills required.
- Strategic thinker with tactical abilities.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, including senior executives.
