Job Description
This Senior Category manager will look after the Category of Energy and Bitumen, a category spend of £200m with one Direct report.Key duties Include-
- Managing large complex tenders in relationship to Energy (Gas,electric, Goal, Fuel, Alternative fuels, Liquid fuels) and Bitumen
- Conduct supplier performance review to ensure they are meeting business and category objectives
- Develop and maintain a strong and collaborative relationship with Key internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
- Conduct regular risk assessments for the category
- Creating regular forecast's of spend and current market trends
- Category Spend: £200m
The Successful Applicant
Successful candidate-
- Expertise knowledge within an Energy procurement role
- Strong experience of developing and managing strong relationships with end-users
- Ability to influence and make key decisions in a fast paced environment
- Strong management skills, confident in influencing others within the team
- CIPS, MCIPS or a equivalent degree
