Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner

Team Management & Culture

Provide direction and day-to-day management of their indirect team, striving to deliver outstanding results and service
Build and embed a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and openness to change

Business Planning

Develop and challenge financial / business plans with the Non-UK offices and ensure agreed plans are reflected in individual office and team forecasts and budgets with appropriate KPIs

Financial Performance & Control

Support and challenge the business to drive delivery of forecast and budget commitments

Business Development

Support, evaluate and challenge key decision makers (such as Partners) in sales pitches and tenders, to include pricing, discount structures, commercial terms etc.

Essential skills and experience

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
Highly developed commercial acumen
Highly developed analytical and financial modelling skills
Strong communication, with the ability to present complex financial data and concepts in a clear and concise way to non-finance professionals
Strong influencing skills, able to persuade and influence challenging colleagues and partners

Desired Requirements

Exposure to working in business outside of the UK
Strong people management skills and ability to develop finance and accounting staff
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and challenging environment
Use of, and familiarity with, IBM Cognos (or similar planning, budgeting and/or forecasting software tools)
