Are you looking for career progression and the chance to head up a small commercial property offering within an established law firm? Are you looking for a firm where there is an existing client base and no need to come armed with a client following?
Our client is an established Midlands law firm acting for businesses and individuals across all disciplines of law. The firm is looking to bring somebody in to run their commercial property department acting for the existing clients of the firm. The work is varied and a lot of the clients are local, long established businesses.
There is a case management system and plenty of administrative / secretarial support.
The firm need a solicitor who is able to work on real estate matters without supervision.
The firm has embraced flexible working since the start of the pandemic and you would be able to work 2-3 days from home (to be agreed with the firm) although they would prefer you to be in the office to start with so that you can establish yourself within the practice.
The firm is a regional practice and this would suit an ambitious solicitor who wants to run a department. The firm has a good culture and you would be not be working long hours.
The Successful Applicant
The role might suit a solicitor who is a commercial property lawyer at a high street/regional firm or perhaps a lawyer from a larger firm looking for progression and to step away from a big private practice. It's likely that you will have at least 4 years' experience in commercial property matters.
