Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Senior Communications Officer include:

  • Providing internal and external communications to support the strategic objectives of specific programme
  • Preparing proactive content such as presentations, newsletters, vlog scripts, case studies and social media content
  • Actively seeking out case studies from across the organisation for use in a variety of internal and external channels
  • Production of copy for online & offline channels - strong digital skills

The Successful Applicant

The successful Communications Manager will have the below essentials:

  • Very strong copywriting skills
  • A proven track record in writing engaging content adaptable for a variety of platforms
  • Experience in the NHS or similar public sector organisation (desirable)
  • Hands-on experience with Wordpress, Canva, Mailchimp (desirable)
