About Our Client
Our client is a growing consultancy who is looking expand its teams in the South and South West and expand its skills base with a number of senior hires.
All hires will be based remotely but expected to travel to client site and team meetings in central hubs such as London.
As a Senior Consultant you will work with clients to help them solve issues, create value, maximise growth and improve their business performance. Taking direction from the Managing Consultant you will lead the design, management and implementation of consulting projects which are predominantly based in the NHS and Local Authorities.
Leading a team of consultants and analyst you will provide project management direction and guidance to ensure successful delivery of a variety of consulting projects from; business case development, feasibility studies, option appraisals and locality reviews.
As a Senior Consultant in this consultancy you will lead the engagement with clients to scope the projects that are assigned to you, clearly defining the deliverables, expectations, assumptions and resource requirements for the work.
You will take accountability for the projects under your charge, planning and managing the work of the consultants assigned to the project, and/or working independently when required.
As an experienced consultant you will be be aware of market changes and developments in your region and sectors and support the Managing Consultant in developing opportunities for new growth and business relationships.
Due to the size of the organisation you will be expected to be hands on support in the production of high quality bids and project propositions and support the Managing Consultant in pitching these to clients. This will include costing new project opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
A Senior Consultant will have 5 to 10 yrs of management consultancy and/or industry experience, particularly in health, social care and local government
A Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a management discipline (preferably in business administration, strategy, finance, project management or healthcare management), or at least 5 years of operational management experience in one of these fields
Credible experience of business advisory assignments and project management, particularly ones which align with our key capabilities in estates and facilities management, asset management, options appraisals, and business case development and implementation
Experience of managing and developing teams
