About Our Client
As part of the wider Enterprise Risk Management Function, this position reports to the Strategic Risk and ERM Regulatory Requirements Director and key responsibilities will include:
Lead local development, implementation, enhancement and maintenance of the ERM Framework in line with the overall ERM Framework.
Work with business leaders to meet local risk management regulatory requirements, providing advice, guidance, training and tools to support the adoption, operationalisation and embedding of the ERM Framework, policies and practices.
Ensure relevant new products and projects are risk assessed in line with the Products and Propositions Policy.
Implement business risk and control assessment programme as required in countries outside UK
Develop and implement effective risk management information to monitor risk exposures against Company risk appetite and reporting to the appropriate Committee.
Work effectively with the network of ERM and Excellence resources and other 2nd line functions.
Work with the Strategic Risk and ERM Regulatory Requirements Director to identify and assess emerging risks outside of GB on a regular basis.
The Successful Applicant
Significant track record in Financial Services, ideally insurance businesses
Track record leading enterprise or operational risk businesses
Experience implementing regulatory reform, risk frameworks and policies
Strong project and stakeholder management experience
European languages a plus - Spanish and French preferred
