About Our Client

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Facilities / Maintenance Manager to join an international manufacturing group based in Wolverhampton. You will be responsible for managing planned / reactive maintenance, CAPEX projects, health & safety and compliance on a single site in Wolverhampton.

Job Description

You will be responsible for appointing and managing external contractors on site to carry out planned / reactive maintenance, CAPEX / refurbishment projects as well as overseeing all site compliance. You will work closely with the H&S team to ensure all standards are met.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The appointment, co-ordination, supervision, and management of FM resource and third party contractors
  • Manage and maintain statutory requirements and maintenance
  • Maintain site records and FM jobs request database
  • To monitor FM spend and contractor performance in line with budget constraints.
  • Legionella Control (L8 Duties, Responsible Person)
  • Asbestos Management (Appointed Person)
  • Coordinating the implementation of building refurbishments and alterations to plant
  • Carry out LOLER Inspections
  • Issuing permit to work and Lock out tag out
  • Ability to produce accurate work whilst working within agreed timescale



The Successful Applicant

  • Experienced Facilities Manager / Maintenance Manager who has worked within an industrial / manufacturing environment
  • Maintenance background
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualified
  • L8 Legionella responsible person
  • Working within a manufacturing and office environment
  • Strong H&S experience (IOSH / NEBOSH qualified)
  • Familiar with LOLER Inspections
