Responsible for

  • Closure of Accounts and the Production of the Statement of Accounts
  • Treasury Management
  • Reporting and monitoring of the capital programme
  • Collection Fund
  • Strategic financial management
  • Operational accountancy requirements
  • Advice and support to budget managers
  • Performance Management
  • Driving the efficiency agenda
  • Managing small team

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Finance Business Partner should have:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Local government experience
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence strategy and drive performance.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of budget planning, forecasting, and reporting.

  • £500 - £650 a day umbrella
  • £423 - £500 a day PAYE
