About Our Client
A growing organisation based in Yorkshire with strong financial stability and opportunity for career progression as the finance team is further developed.
As Senior Finance Manager, your role will focus using your accountancy skills to develop strong and robust internal controls and developing internal policies and procedures. Key areas of delivery will include:
- Commitment to developing a strong, robust, but agile policy and control framework across finance
- Acting as the risk champion for finance and developing plans to mitigate for any gaps and weaknesses
- Development and maintenance of the finance manual.
- Continuing to drive a culture of control and commitment to excellence and continuous improvement across financial control throughout the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
Candidates will be fully accountancy qualified and will ideally have a background in a similar Senior Finance Manager position within financial services and strong experience across financial control and policy coupled with the interpersonal skills to be able to successfully engage key stakeholders across the organisation and gain their buy in and commitment to financial control.
This could also be a suitable move for someone looking to move into industry from accountancy practice if they have been able to gain sufficient level of post qualification experience.
