Job Description
Senior Governance Manager
London
Role:
- Lead on the Corporate Governance and Company Secretarial duties for the organisation
- Carry out governance reviews to ensure the organisation has appropriate structures
- Lead on the maintenance of statutory registers and manage all relevant statutory and regulatory returns, e.g. Charity Commission, Companies House etc.
- Lead on drafting and reviewing Policies and Terms of References for the Board's formal Committees
- Further develop and lead on a corporate governance review against the Charity Governance Code, and work towards implementing improvements, to enhance the effectiveness of governance across the organisation
- Ensure compliance with the Organisation's governance procedures, policies and best practice guidelines

Essential:
- ICSA qualified
- Demonstrable background of managing Board and Committee meetings
- Significant knowledge and practical application of charity and company law and Charity Commission best practice
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience of carrying out corporate governance reviews and implementing changes
