A rarely available opportunity exists for a Compliance Manager to join the team based in Aberdeen supporting the Asset business with guidance in regulatory requirement and internal policies and procedures

Job Description

The Compliance Manager is responsible for a team overseeing the compliance risk review process, compliance training, and liaising with key business stakeholders on all compliance related matters.Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including the leadership teams, legal, supply chain, commercial, clients and JV partners
  • Delivery of contract compliance risk review, charitable donations, and the due diligence follow-up programme group wide
  • Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of contract review process group wide in relation to the agreed schedule and territories.
  • Delivery of the review of all proposed contracts/agreements on a group wide basis from a compliance perspective
  • Support the business with the negotiation of contracts from a compliance perspective
  • Review and drafting of responses to third-party compliance questionnaires
  • Support and mentor due diligence compliance analysts with drafting appropriate mitigation's in a due diligence report which reflect the risk(s) identified in the context of the scope of work, engagement type and location
  • Design and deliver training sessions within the team and wider company in relation to the areas of responsibilities
  • Design and roll out the due diligence follow-up programme group wide

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the role of Compliance Manager will have experience of working with compliance for major onshore/offshore assets principally in Oil, Gas and/or renewable sectors. You will have good personal resilience, be comfortable transacting at all levels across a business and internationally, challenging current ways of working and gaining buy in for identified improvements.
