The Senior Marketing and Communications Manager will be working for a boutique property consultancy with office based in London. The role offers flexible working between the office and home.

Job Description

The Senior Marketing and Communications Manager will be an expert in handling media relations for a corporate business, experience managing the creative process and be an ambitious self-starter! They will be collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders to drive high-quality and creative work.

  • Deliver and own the annual marketing and communications plan - setting the strategy, objectives, budget etc.
  • Work with third party PR agency - review and edit press releases and announcements in alignment to key strategic messaging
  • Manage PR proactively and reactively - lead communications response to any site based issues or crisis situations
  • Product high-quality, impactful written content (brief designer to cover visual)
  • Multi-channel content - plan and deliver content across the website, social media and community management
  • Input into new business tenders - deliver create ideas and concepts and seeing through to execution
  • Own the development of new business tender packs - liaise with subject matter experts and the team to write, manage the design of and output disruptive, differentiating tender submissions with high production values that get results
  • Develop and manage Group's repository of self-service tender and new business content -working with the team to keep it fresh and up-to-date
  • Monitoring trade press for any intelligence or news on potential new business leads

These responsibilities will be tracked and performance focus will be based on:

  • Reputation of the business - be different, disruptive and creatively brave! Growth is the aim
  • Strong earned and organic trade media coverage with a focus on key industry titles
  • A more efficient tender development process
  • Growth in social media followers and engagement
  • Growth in monthly and annualised revenues

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven ability to handle media relations for a corporate business
  • Managing agencies; PR, digital and other marketing support
  • Experience managing a creative process including designers to drive brand guardianship and a strong visual sense
  • Self-starter, operate autonomously
  • Budget and time management
  • Stakeholder management
  • Copywriting, document editing
  • Data reporting and eCRM platform experience e.g. Salesforce, Goldvision or equivalent
