Job Description
- Briefing journalists

Identify opportunities for developing proactive communications to media and stakeholders, whilst being aware to any potential reputation risks

Working closely with policy officials and communications colleagues to plan and implement communications strategies across a range of channels

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including other government departments and agencies

Produce a wide variety of content and then put this out to the appropriate channels to reach the target audiences
The Successful Applicant
- Proven track record of working across sensitive and challenging situations/issues, and using negotiating and influencing skills to achieve outcomes
- Proven track record of developing content for a range of communication channels, including social media and web
- Comfortable in assessing a broad range of information both scientific and corporate in nature
- Stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- A team player with a can do attitude
What's on Offer
A competitive salary paying between £35,000- £40,000. This a temporary position based in London. Due to the current climate this position will mostly be remote.
