My client is a tier one investment bank operating in the financial services industry with offices in London.
Job Description
My London based financial services client is looking for a Senior Pricing Developer (C#/.Net and C++) to engage in the following:
- Work on building upon an existing pricing application which is used by credit traders and management globally.
- Get involved in designing and assisting with implementation of the next evolution of the platform by working closely with Quants, Support Teams and Traders.
- Front-office team experience and any knowledge of pricing systems would be an aid the execution of the key responsibilities.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for the Senior Pricing Developer (C#/.Net and C++) role at my financial services client's site in London, the candidate must present evidence of the following:
- Requires experience of .NET Development using C#, .NET.
- Requires experience of C++
- Must have experience in class libraries design and general application architecture
- Must have experience with UI interface design patterns (e.g. MVVM)
- Must be Proficient in SQL Server
- Visual Studio 2012/2015
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proactive team player with a "can-do" attitude;
- Excellent analytical problem solver;
- Attention to detail and thoroughness a must.
- Must have experience in code branch management
- Ability to design and implement unit tests (with nUnit) and integrate into automated build process.
Desired Skills/Experience
- Working knowledge of market data technologies
- Experience with event driven programming.
- Experience with developing real time pricing applications.
- A working knowledge of Fixed Income instruments including Credit Default Swaps.
- Knowledge of [ION] third party market data connectivity API.
- Knowledge of Tibco RV and Reuters RMDS.
