About Our Client
Michael Page Treasury are recruiting a Senior Treasury Manager on behalf of the UK's largest utilities business based in Reading. This role will help cover the Group's debt obligations of over £14billion and annual group interest costs of circa £500million and lastly a derivatives portfolio with a notional value of over £9billion.
Job Description
The Senior Treasury Manager will be responsible for:
- Treasury Payment Settlements
- Payment Control- Bank Account Management
- Help scope the cash management and payment processes for the Group
- Build and maintain relationships with external lenders, paying agents and transaction counterparties
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- A qualified treasurer or accountant with a minimum of 5 years of payments management experience
- An understanding of debt and derivatives transactions
- Highly organised and systematic with strong attention to detail
- Excellent MS Excel skills, familiar with Treasury Management Systems and accounting systems
- Line management experience is desirable
What's on Offer
A competitive package is on offer paying between £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience. This role will offer flexible working with a blended hybrid model, working from home and their office in Reading.
