Job Description

  • To manage and optimise the Foodservice route to market in the UK
  • To manage the existing client portfolio and actively prospect the area to recruit new clients
  • To develop the distributor network, manage it and ensure high quality commercial relationships with these distributors
  • To develop, in accordance with the applicable tariff charts, the sales of premium dairy products in the UK
  • To participate - with the Market teams - in the definition and implementation of an activation strategy (including digital), which will be relevant and adapted to the specific needs of the market and UK customers
  • To ensure the dissemination of upstream and downstream information, both in terms of quality (relevance) and density (market knowledge, customer needs, new products, product quality, customers, competitors, company, shortages, claims, etc.)
  • A significant position in terms of autonomy of initiative and decision-making as well as participation in cross-group projects

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrable success & experience of selling branded products in the UK (Foodservice), preferably in the food industry
  • A Sales person at heart, you are an outstanding negotiator and your power of persuasion is well established
  • You can demonstrate great listening skills, autonomy and rigour
  • You have affinities with the bakery / pastry and / or hotel / restaurant sectors
  • Committed to your profession and able to step back to have a global vision of the business with the necessary strategic skills in your area of expertise
  • Forward thinking, able to stay at the forefront of the market within the foodservice sector and excel in customer service
  • As an excellent communicator, you are comfortable with internal and external communication at all levels, and you juggle adeptly in the digital world
  • You regularly monitor markets, competitors and customers
