Because when they succeed, we succeed, and that success drives us to do even more.Job DescriptionEstablish and review sinking funds for asset replacement programs while identifying service chargeable works and the optimal methods of recovery with the help of the investment teams for new and existing residences.Ensure that consultation requirements and procedures are followed for major homeowner projects under Section 20 and for applicable contract services for all customer tenures to ensure the greatest possible recovery of service charges.Make sure that there are sufficient processes in place to monitor the accounting of chargeable services for both leaseholders and tenants. Keep up to date with the laws governing chargeable services for leaseholders and tenants and use this information to guide the determination.Actively participate in helping to manage the finance function effectively as a member of the extended finance leadership team.Drive improvements and efficiencies in the processes for determining compensation by providing outstanding financial assistance throughout the organisation.Ensure that the management reporting information is timely, accurate and appropriate, ensuring any deviation from budget / plans can be explained and justified when queried.The Successful ApplicantYou will have a strong understanding of service charge accounting and an ability to work with complex data. You will also have strong experience of effectively partnering with investment, service delivery and procurement teams as well as other finance and non-finance stakeholder groups. Given the team leadership responsibilities, prior management and leadership experience is also essential. It's desirable, though not essential, that you have worked with new homes service charges, sinking fund management and had experience delivering data improvements projects.
