About Our Client

As the SHEQ Manager, you will work closely with the Senior SHEQ Manager, Head of SHEQ, and local Managing Directors to implement, monitor, and maintain ISO standards and systems within each of our service provisions. You'll be responsible for ensuring that both internal and outsourced resources are effectively utilised to support the business and achieve SHEQ compliance. Additionally, you will ensure that the company's SHEQ policies and strategies are fully adhered to, while also ensuring all your direct reports do the same.

Job Description

  • Implement and maintain ISO standards across all service provisions.
  • Collaborate with the Senior SHEQ Manager and local MDs to ensure effective operation and compliance.
  • Ensure all resources, internal and outsourced, are used effectively to support SHEQ requirements.
  • Drive a positive safety culture and implement SHEQ strategy across the business.
  • Monitor and report on SHEQ performance and ensure continual improvement.
  • Support the leadership team in delivering SHEQ goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the business adheres to company SHEQ policies, and all reporting staff follow suit.



The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in a SHEQ Manager role, ideally within social housing or a similar sector.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Experience in implementing and managing health, safety, environmental, and quality systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.
  • Demonstrable leadership and team management skills.
