Job Description

This shift-based role (4 days on 4 days off) will provide essential support for the business, customers and

other departments and requires and carries responsibility for meeting demanding team targets.

 Working Safely; Maintaining and Improving safety performance by working diligently, reporting any

incidents and pro-actively improving practices and standards and implementing best practice for all

production activities

 Maintaining housekeeping standards across the site

 Achieving the daily manufacturing output and material yield targets

 Closing off work order schedules in a timely and accurate manner

 Ensuring that all finished goods are produced in an excellent condition and fit for customer purpose.

 Determining and implementing best practice in changeovers to improve overall equipment effectiveness

(OEE)

 Ensuring delivery of KPI's (Safety, Housekeeping, Quality and Production Performance (OEE =

including yield, outputs and quality) are understood and maintained.

 Undertaking other tasks and projects assigned within your capability in pursuit of manufacturing

improvement and World Class Performance (WCP)

The Successful Applicant

Able to develop both individually and within a team

 Will work autonomously

 Will work as a team player who is flexible

 Have manufacturing experience

 Will apply world class manufacturing principles at all times and be accountable for all actions and

responsibilities (these include line housekeeping, outputs, yields, product quality and general

compliance to all extrusion and business requirements)

 Willing to train others and work closely with others to ensure continuous improvement of skills and

personal development. Will identify training needs and ask the business for support to achieve

 Be able to drive a FLT

 Able to challenge existing methods and deliver change to improve performance
