Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Site Accountant include:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies when necessary.
  • Provide financial insights to aid decision-making across the site.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across logistics, production and operations on financial performance
  • Assist in preparing year-end accounts and liaising with external auditors.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost optimisation.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Site Accountant should have:

  • Actively working towards CIMA/ACCA
  • Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders about financial data
