Job Description

  • Develop and implement category strategies with a bias towards the technology spend.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance supplier performance.
  • Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, including negotiations, contracts, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align category strategies with business goals.
  • Monitor and report on category performance, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain for the technology category.
  • Support the development of procurement policies and best practices across the organisation.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members within the procurement team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Category Manager - Tech should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong expertise in category management, particularly within the technology segment.
  • Exceptional negotiation and supplier management skills.
