There are two central purposes that the holder of this role will formally deliver - managing and planning our social strategy, our positioning via social and social channels, and managing the nBS content strategy through amplification activity with a strong focus on lead generation, increasing share of voice, brand awareness, consideration and engagement. Management and delivery of the nBS of owned, earned and paid media strategy is a critical part of this role and will be required to provide this support to the Content, Social and Communications Manager and the Digital and Marketing Manager.
The Social Media & Content Amplification Lead is accountable for the execution of a social media strategy including management of all relevant social media channels (such as Twitter, LinkedIn, You Tube, blogs, webinars, Podcasts and video). In addition to providing expert guidance, strategic direction and advice in relation to the use of social media more broadly across our business segment.
The role holder will work alongside the nBS marketing team to maximise the opportunities that exist and monitor emerging social media platforms that can provide maximum reach. That also includes the development, creative execution and management of the paid media strategy for social media BAU activity and campaigns whilst setting up and managing social media reporting via a suite of analytic tools.
As the Social Media & Content Amplification Lead, you will be responsible for championing and demystifying social media throughout our business segment and driving employee advocacy whilst also creating and amplifying content relevant to the channel(s).
Through analysis of social listening data the role will lead the auditing, monitoring and measurement of the online environment to understand customer engagement with social media, the organisation, our competitors and the B2B energy industry in order to define and implement detailed strategic recommendations and drive customer satisfaction.
The role will encompass supporting the rest of the marketing team in giving time and expertise for campaigns and communications that need social as part of the journey.
The second element to your role will be amplification of existing content. This will typically be via online and digital tools but can also encompass hard copy print. You will review internally produced content as well as external content and assess if this information is being shared to all our target users.
The tools we use help to measure our success include Hootsuite and Google Analytics.

A demonstrable knowledge our social media reporting, measurement and value assessment. Specifically using Hootsuite and Google Analytics.
Content Management Systems experience - create web pages via Umbraco
Good project management, encompassing an obvious knowledge of budget management and engaging with colleagues outside of marketing and social media.
