About Our Client

My Public Sector Client's trust is located within central London and are looking for a Software Asset Manager to join the team on a 6 month initial basis working in a hybrid model.

Job Description

As a "SAM" for my London based Public Sector client, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and optimising the purchase, deployment, maintenance, utilisation, and disposal of software applications
  • Defining equipment configuration standards and evaluation criteria
  • Establish, develop and maintain tracking systems for software acquisition and related services
  • Providing technological leadership to develop technology solutions that meet product benefit or cost expectations
  • Develop short term and long term plans to plan the future cycle of changes and identify the products to be included in the

The Successful Applicant

A Successful candidate for this Software Asset Manager role will present evidence of the following experience:

  • Proven experience in software asset management, including software license compliance, procurement, and contract negotiation
  • Familiarity with software asset management tools and technologies
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models, including perpetual licenses, subscriptions, and open-source licensing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex software licensing scenarios and recommend appropriate solutions

What's on Offer

Receive up to £250 per day Inside IR35 on an initial 6 month contract, with the high possibility of an extension, while working hybrid.
