They have plans to expand in the UK and abroad, creating new exciting opportunities to develop a career within Supply Chain.Job DescriptionCustomer orders are processed in a timely manor and any availability gaps are analysed and communicatedReview supply performance and propose improvements to inventory control as appropriateHousekeeping of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system data to ensure accurate MRP resultsUtilise and analyse information to improve decision makingCommunicating with internal customers and warehouse / logistics providers, gathering details and ensuring all relevant parties are kept well informedDirect communication with customers to share supply performance and promote products on promotionDevelop and maintain positive relationships with the main warehouse and transport provider, resolving concerns and evaluating performanceSupport supplier meetings and negotiations to ensure demand is metMinimise obsolete stock and ensure the business is left with minimum liabilityEnsure quality standards are adhered to and met in all processesThe Successful ApplicantPrevious experience of demand planning, ideally in an FMCG Manufacturing environment.Good understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependencies.Understanding of supplier relationships and some experience of working with suppliers.Strong IT systems knowledge and skills, including advanced Excel skills.Experience of using MRP/ERP systems (SAP / Sage advantageous).What's on OfferSalary and Package including pension, 2 days hybrid working once probation is passed.
