About Our Client

Our client are a Leeds based FMCG manufacturer with a growing global presence in their field.

Job Description

  • Responsible for receiving, collating & processing customer order from receipt to delivery to ensure a smooth order process, timely delivery of orders, and customer expectations are met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, promptly addressing their enquiries and resolving issues
  • Working in partnership with our Commercial department to assist with Order Management queries and sales support to help grow and maintain customer accounts
  • Facilitate smooth communication between the customer & internal departments
  • Coordination of availability via internal stakeholders & internal stock allocation process
  • Create shipments & book hauliers including relevant paperwork and export documentation.
  • Liaise with hauliers regarding issues, availability and day to day service requirements
  • Coordinate customer returns & Sample Oder requests
  • Manage goods out diary
  • Identify & raise improvement opportunities, raise Quality Events for non-conformance
  • Cover for other supply chain roles & any other relevant duties

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience in a similar supply chain/logistics/sales order/customer service role
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Good IT skils
