The Supply Chain Design Engineer role covers all areas of the supply base, taking in to account price, quality, and delivery ensuring continuity of supply throughout the life cycle of the product. This role also has a particular leaning towards value engineering and supporting cost increase mitigation.
The post holder will have regular engagement with other members of purchasing, operations and the engineering teams, working closely with them to quickly identify potential issues or opportunities with short and long term actions.
The Successful Applicant

Specific Technical Competencies/Skills:
- Experience in Solid Works
- Familiarity with supply chain processes
- Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Analytical mind with business acumen
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
