Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies to align with organisational housing goals.
  • Lead a team to deliver cost-effective and efficient supply chain solutions.
  • Oversee supplier relationships to ensure quality, value, and compliance with policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline procurement processes.
  • Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and ethical standards in all supply chain activities.
  • Prepare and manage budgets related to procurement and supply chain functions.
  • Report on key performance metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supply Chain Director should have:

  • A degree or professional qualification in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading supply chain and procurement teams in a complex organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, supply chain optimisation, and contract management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to analyse data and implement actionable solutions.
  • Familiarity with compliance and governance requirements in the not-for-profit sector.
