As a result, this is a newly created role to support my client in dealing with this increased growth and added complexity!My Nottingham based client offer their customers a range of furniture Inc. a supply and installation service.Job DescriptionThis new role will take over responsibility for all supply, production planning and logistics activities, working in collaboration with the production and sales team to schedule work flow to deliver the S&OP plan.Effectively manage the purchasing, planning, and logistics functions within the businessAnalyse the sales plan and pipeline, and translate this to deliver realistic production plans that balance service, production, inventory and labour efficiencyCreate, execute and manage the S&OP processEnsure all production control and planning requirements are fulfilledEffectively manage and coordinate material availability to support production and sales order requirementsIdentify and manage required capacity levels, and highlight risks relating to production issues and supply problemsResponsible for the management of on-site inventory levels and costsOversee logistics planning using the transport management system ensuring efficient route planning and driver allocationSupport the business in driving a culture of continuous improvement with a target of zero RP'sThe Successful ApplicantAs Supply Chain Manager, you must have tenacity, confidence, enthusiasm, energy and should take great pride in your role.You will enthusiastically embrace change initiatives to support business objectives and be willing and able to deal with a fair amount of ambiguity and evolving priorities, whilst helping the business manage its operations efficiently and effectively.They are seeking a self-driven, agile candidate who will be committed to great service, professionalism, integrity and delivery of results.What's on OfferThe successful candidate will be offered up to £60,000 plus package Inc.
