About Our Client
My client is an integrated container logistics company working to connect and simplify its customer's supply chains. As the global leader in shipping services, the company operates in 130 countries and employs roughly 70,000 people.
The organisation is building a new global HR service enabled by new technology, to make sure they deliver great experience to their people, so they can deliver great experience to their customers. This newly created role will act as a bridge between the Centre of Expertise, People Partners and key internal stakeholders
Job Description
The role responsibilities will cover both project and business continuity;
Project implementation
- Driving the end to end review process with local HR to uncover gaps between the current and future model. Design/model solutions to manage these in the new model
- Facilitate knowledge transfer across different parties involved in the current service delivery model
- Support training and change management activities
Business continuity
- Partner with Hiring Managers and People Partners on end-to-end recruitment, ensuring a positive Hiring Manager and candidate experience
- Partner with People Partners/HR Managers regarding talent attraction & acquisition, working on proactive recruitment forecasts with Hiring Managers
- Analyse recruiting metrics to ensure benchmarks are met or exceeded
- Identify improvement opportunities in local processes and raise them
- Serve as the point of contact for all country-based Employer Branding initiatives, coordinating with all relevant stakeholders, attending various career Fairs, Trade fairs where relevant for our brand visibility and to attract the right talent
- Anchor all local Internship Programmes, liaising with the Institutions and other relevant stakeholders
- Build solid pipelines for critical roles and providing relevant market intelligence to Talent Attraction team as well as Hiring Managers
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate is passionate about matching talent to business needs and is an expert in the technical tools and processes within the recruitment domain. The ideal candidate will have:
- Solid hands-on experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes within a complex international organisation
- A candidate-centric mindset
- Exposure from a Recruitment Process Outsourcing model or an agency would be beneficial
- Recruitment experience for both office-based and non-office based (within transport, logistics, supply management would be desirable)
- The ability to effectively engage and mobilise diverse local HR stakeholders
- A proactive attitude geared towards continuous improvement
- Flexibility and adaptability to operate in a fast-paced, developing project environment, taking ownership and setting directions with minimal guidance
What's on Offer
A salary of circa £40-50,000 DOE, plus benefits. The role is remote-based, with the expectation the candidate is willing to be in the Liverpool office on an adhoc basis, or more if preferred by the candidate
