About Our Client
My client are a rapidly growing food production business looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their IT Team.
Job Description
- Act as escalation point for IT Issues
- Manage End User requests from staff and other supported users and, where necessary, initiate and manage projects to deliver solution
- Work with Management to identify and recommend potential improvements to IS estate
- Provide assistance with audio video and conference room setup and support
- Coordinate and/or set-up of data services, as well as phone, computer, and printer installation
- Coordinate and/or execute the setup of network connectivity (LAN or WLAN)
- Provide technology usage training to employees as well as mentoring 1st Line Support
- An ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
The Successful Applicant
- A minimum of 2 year's + proven experience in 2nd Line Support
- Windows 10 & Windows Server Environment
- MS Exchange
- Hyper V
- Active Directory
- Full UK driving licence and own car
- Understanding of networking technologies
- Must be personable, have a customer-friendly attitude and can work in a team environment
- Good communication skills
