Our client are an established business that are a leader in London retail sector.They own and operate one of the most prestigious retail outlets based in Oxford Street and are recognised globally they are looking for an experienced maintenance and facilities manager to oversee their estate management.

Job Description


  • Manage third-party contracts and serve as the main interface between them and the Senior FM Manager.
  • Regularly measure the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and main service agreements within the contract.
  • Review costs and ongoing agreements within the service contract to ensure optimal value.
  • Focus on new ways of working to maximize added value from the contract.
  • Manage compliance issues within the stores, including legal compliance (L8) and ongoing maintenance.
  • Oversee lifts and escalators, reporting issues and ensuring timely repairs.
  • Liaise with Health and Safety (H&S) to effectively manage compliance issues.
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive maintenance plan for the stores.
  • Monitor and review the maintenance plan to drive improvements and efficiencies throughout the estate.
  • Benchmark the plan against industry standards and continuously seek ways to enhance it.

The Successful Applicant


  • Proven Maintenance an FM experience within a similar environment at a senior level.
  • Thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical (M&E) infrastructure within large and complex buildings, with the ability to influence decision-making.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a large retail group or possibly in the leisure/hospitality industry would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in understanding and managing complex M&E infrastructure.
  • Strong individual who has successfully delivered similar responsibilities in a comparable environment.
  • Clear thinker with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Capable of delivering results within a dynamic environment.
