A dynamic and forward-thinking organisation undergoing a large scale transformation. At the heart of London and looking to acquire more territory in its change plan.

Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of organisational change projects; with complex HR and financial implications. Working closely with the Project Sponsor and Programme Manager the role will require close collaboration with colleagues across the organisation, robust project management and strong communication.

The role holder will work in collaboration with the Change Support Unit Programme Manager, Change Managers, Business Analysts and the Project Support Officer.

Monitor, control and report project delivery versus plan, identifying and managing project risks and opportunities in order to keep the project on track, controlling changes to baseline plans where needed

Ensure project stakeholders and resources are identified and appropriately involved, with responsibilities and resource requirements clearly defined and agreed, and with stakeholder communications and expectations managed throughout the project life-cycle

As part of project delivery, ensure effective project governance and decision-making, and that the relevant university policies and processes are followed.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this post must have had substantial experience as a project manager, demonstrable track record of project management, including at least one large and complex project. Experience working on leading projects within a portfolio of inter-dependant projects. Experience managing the full project life-cycle, from business case through to closure change. Significant experience of managing stakeholders and customer expectations.

In return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £54,000 per annum, incremental pay increases, a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days plus closure days, a pension contribution of 21%, flexible working hours as well as working from home options.
