About Our Client
The successful UK subsidiary of a global organisation with turnover in excess of £1bn per annum.
This is an exciting, newly created opportunity for a senior HR professional to lead the People function for the highly successful UK subsidiary of a global multinational.
In this role, you will be supported by a highly capable HR Operations Manager who looks after all day-to-day HR including employee relations and HR administration.
With that in mind your role will be to engage with senior stakeholders, truly business partnering with functional leaders to align the global People plan with the UK business plan. You will take the strategic lead in a range of areas, including but not limited to:
- Employee Engagement
- Learning & Development, Talent Management
- Reward; Compensation & Benefits
- HRIS management (including the implementation of Workday later in the year)
- Recruitment, Retention and Succession Planning
- HR analytics and data reporting to support data-led decision-making
- Harmonisation of terms and conditions for employees TUPE'd into the organisation
This is a truly strategic opportunity looking after approximately 250 employees, allowing you to truly get to know your people and provide a personalised service to your internal customers.
The Successful Applicant
You will have a background as 'number one in HR' either for a successful standalone UK business, or the UK subsidiary of an international business. You will be an effective relationship-builder at all levels, and capable of managing an experienced direct report in the UK HR Manager.
You will have a background in a similar industrial environment, providing an end-to-end operational and strategic HR services to a range of senior stakeholders, including taking the lead on a range of specialist HR projects across L&D, Reward, HRIS, Engagement, Recruitment and Retention.
