About Our Client

They specialise in Urban Design and Planning, focusing predominantly on the residential new build market with an array of clients including PLC and privately owned developers and land owners.

As Urban Designer/CAD Technician, you will play a critical part within their young team, supporting on a range of projects that will have you involved across all aspects of the design and planning process including: masterplanning, site layout, housetype design, streetscenes, visualisations and working drawings.
Staying true to their ethos, you will be mobile between all these areas dependent on both your interests, experience, business needs and aspirations. You will be both on the drawing board, using various CAD and graphic systems to produce work and making visits to site independently and with colleagues.
The Successful Applicant
- You will be at the start of your career with no more than a couple years experience, and bags of enthusiasm to learn, develop and progress.
- You will be qualified to degree level, in a field pertaining to the built environment with a creative bias such as Architecture, Urban Design or Architectural Technology.
- A good knowledge of various softwares is critical, with AutoCAD, Adobe CS and Sketch being mandatory (others are a bonus).
- Driving licence and car required to make site visits.
