About Our Client
Michael Page are working exclusively with a West Yorkshire based manufacturer with global presence to recruit a Warehouse & Logistics Manager. This growing organisation have 7 sites across the UK and are witnessing significant growth.
Job Description
Reporting into the Group Operations Director, The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will be responsible for a team of c100 via 4 direct reports. You will be tasked with developing systems and processes as the business continues to grow whilst improving efficiencies across a complex operation.Day to day responsibility will include:
- Ensuring the highest standard of health and safety across the site
- Managing all 3rd party relationships
- Leading the warehouse and despatch teams to ensure high OTIF and service levels
- Driving an improvement led, empowering culture
- Assisting the Group Operations Director and peers across the organisation with improvement opportunity and large projects
The Successful Applicant
The successful Warehouse & Logistics Manager will possess a range of the following:
- Proven leadership acumen
- A strong comprehension of warehouse operations
- Excellent working knowledge of ERP systems (ideally SAP)
- A demonstrable background in delivering change
- An ambition to grow with an exciting and market leading organisation
