Job Description

  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of website development and maintenance.
  • Developing and implementing website strategies and goals aligned with the organisation's objectives.
  • Managing website content, ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date, and engaging for users.
  • Monitoring website performance and conducting regular audits to identify and address any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as designers, developers, and content creators, to ensure cohesive website functionality and design.
  • Implementing and optimising SEO strategies to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
  • Analysing website metrics and user behaviour to identify trends and insights, and using that data to drive improvements.
  • Ensuring website compliance with relevant regulations, such as data privacy and accessibility standards.
  • Implementing security measures to protect the website and user data from potential threats.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the website's effectiveness and user experience.

The Successful Applicant

  • Solid experience in managing websites, preferably with a focus on website development and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of website design principles, usability, and user experience.
  • Proficient in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience in implementing SEO strategies.
  • Familiarity with website analytics tools to track and measure website performance.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy and quality in website content.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and experience in implementing accessibility features.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and ability to implement security measures to protect user data.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including designers, developers, and content creators.
  • Proactive and resourceful mindset, with the ability to identify and address website issues and improvements.
