Ecommerce Merchandisers are responsible for using web reporting tools to analyse the website performance, forecasting and analysing sales for the website, monitoring stock performance and identifying key opportunities.
They will often liaise closely with the Buying and Merchandising teams, to ensure the right product is on the website and will also work closely with marketing to ensure all relevant promotions/campaigns are set up and communicated clearly to the consumer. The majority of ecommerce trading is within the retail market, as many retailers now have online platforms to sell their product to the customer.
