Recruitment activity has been consistent over the last quarter, within both private practice and in-house. Much of the volume of roles has been for temporary recruitment, particularly in private practice, but with an increase in fixed term contracts.
We’ve also experienced activity from the not-for-profit sector and from within the in-house media sector, which has been busy.
Looking forward, we expect to see more permanent paralegal roles from US firms and the pharmaceutical industry is already busy so we should see more demand for roles here. The not-for-profit sector should continue to see hiring activity and we predict the steady stream of demand for temporary roles to continue too, although this can be unpredictable in nature in some markets.
