To recruit high quality candidates into an expanding team, Derbyshire County Primary Care Trust provided us with the budget to recruit 6 roles within the marketing communications function, specifically:
 
  • Head of media relations
  • Head of community Relations
  • Media relations officer
  • Community relations officer
  • Media relations officer
  • Health promotion Campaigns officer

Candidate attraction

 
We recommended a solution that comprised fully advertised search and selection and a database search. The advertising package included a premium ad posting on the major marketing job boards and a 1 page spread in ‘Marketing’ magazine.
 

Candidate screening

 
We met personally with the candidates at our Midlands offices to assess their skills, experience and overall suitability for the role. We also re-advertised one of the posts free of charge.
 

Timescales

 
The campaign ran for two weeks and was implemented effectively following brief and budget sign off.
 

Outcome

 
Every role was filled successfully and we have subsequently assisted with Interim assignments.
