I joined Michael Page Technology in March 2014 and helped set up Michael Page’s Business Intelligence and Data Analytics proposition. Prior to this, I studied at the University of Manchester, graduating in July 2011, before gaining commercial experience at Manchester United Football Club. I am responsible for growing our Business Intelligence proposition in London and the Home Counties and am based in our Holborn office.

I was really excited to hear about the opportunities available within Michael Page and even more so when I found out how much emphasis senior stakeholders are placing on our Technology business. I was encouraged by the fact that this was one area of the UK market which was continuing to break growth records; this was reinforced when Gartner recently predicted Business Intelligence to be the number-one priority for CTOs in 2016.

I am extremely passionate about Business Intelligence and Data and it is an area which I not only enjoy recruiting in but also learning about. I have attended a number of seminars outside of work to learn more about the subject and grow my network of candidates and clients. I am also hosting a number of BI and Data seminars in the coming months as a value-add service to both clients and candidates.

The best part about working for Michael Page is the investment the business puts into consultants. This was important for me since I came from a non-recruitment background.  I have undertaken award-winning training programmes which have been run both internally and externally; this has enabled me to do my job effectively and efficiently.
