Job Description

  • Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and resolve any payment discrepancies.
  • Monitor and improve accounts payable processes and systems.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of accounts payable data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have:

  • A strong background in accounts payable management.
  • Experience in shared services or medium - large not for profit organisations is advantageous
  • Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
