  • Support in managing budgets and controlling operational costs effectively.
  • Handle transport-related queries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant transport regulations and company policies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of transport processes and systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Transport Manager should have:

  • Previous experience in a logistics or transport management role within the transport & distribution industry.
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using transport management software and tools.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing operational improvements.
  • A CPC qualification.
