Job Description

  • Manage the collection of outstanding debts from clients in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications with clients.
  • Resolve client queries related to invoices and payments efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable and outstanding balances.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements within the credit control function.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Control professional should have:

  • Previous experience in a credit control or related accounting role within the Business Services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
