Job Description

  • Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and take appropriate actions to recover outstanding payments.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients to facilitate smooth payment processes.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and distribute regular statements and reports on account statuses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Provide support during audits and assist in the preparation of financial reports.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A strong background in credit control or accounts receivable within the retail industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
