Job Description

The key responsibilities for the Finance Analyst role:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency within the insurance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

Essential:

  • A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science).
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in financial services or lending operations.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools (e.g. Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with operational metrics, process optimization and forecasting models.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment



Desirable:

  • Familiarity with personal loan products and servicing workflows
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake)
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in consumer lending (e.g., FCA)
